  1. Were you the beneficiary of an act of kindness from an everyday hero in Corona Times? Did you witness random acts of kindness in your community? Did you volunteer in some capacity over the past year? Tell your story (2 paragraphs). Provide a photo or a drawing if you can.

I witnessed everyday heroes plenty of times. I flew to Beijing during the severe time that the US faced during March. After I landed, I see an order with plans that the government transmits to lower levels. People follow the rules and there are many volunteers who led people to fill in the forms, leading the line and directing people to take the acid test.

They are all everyday hero that worked with no complaints, wearing layers of protective suits for over 24 hours. I see a strong power that my country put into during the pandemic, how people are all together facing and solving every problem or every breakout. People help each other like we are one. People who stored masks at the time shared their resources with people that really need help.

2. Inspired by the list of Pandemic Celebrities and Everyday Heroes named above, add a profile and image to this positivity pantheon. Summarize the good works and the story of uplift that has inspired you in Corona Times. (2 paragraphs)

Madonna has donated $1 million to the COVID-19 Therapeutics Accelerator. “I’m joining the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation effort to find a drug that will prevent or treat COVID-19. We need this to protect our health workers, the most vulnerable, and all of our friends and families,” Madonna said in a statement. “Harnessing the strength and knowledge of the research community, the Accelerator’s critical scientific progress will inform how we end this pandemic and prevent future impact from the virus. I send enormous gratitude and strength to the courageous first responders, medical professionals, and scientists who are protecting our communities, those suffering and our most vulnerable.” She contributed to medical research during the pandemic and she wants to find the cure for people to stop suffering from COVID19.
